Welcome to the Web Page of the
Order of the Openairfires!
A cook is able to produce good food. Master cooks are able to produce particularly good food. In a cauldron as well.
We others are, not only able to, but also fond of cooking! (Excuse us, real master cooks!)
This web page has been created in order to bring the amateur lovers of cooking on open air fire closer to each other across borders, and to encourage them to visit each others’ events! In addition to the small group of renowned master cooks, there are millions of people who are keen on producing food in cauldrons, on grills, wheel discs,on fire and/or ember, that is, in any way using open, live fire and in the open air, at cooking competitions, in our family or in the company of our friends.
Let us get acquainted with each others’ open-air culinary art and traditions, and let us have a good chat in the meanwhile!

Registration is FREE!
Our web site is open for anyone to read, but only registered users, accepting the terms and conditions, are able to upload their recipes and pictures, see the accessibility of other members, and add comments to the forum/blog.
You will easily find materials about a cooking contest or festival. If not, that is only because the organizers–perhaps YOU–have not sent us the information!
Making gastronomical events visible to the public on our site is free of charge!
If you wish to belong to those who sustain the noble traditions of cooking on open air fires, and you have provenly excelled in cooking and in the organization of culinary events, then you may later apply for a membership in the
Order of Openairfires!
For the list of the current members of the Order of Openairfires, please see our web page.
Only those in the list are members of our Order!
